Consular & Embassy Legalization in Chile
For countries that do not accept the apostille: we legalize your documents with the ministry and the relevant consulate or embassy.
When the destination country is not party to the Apostille Convention, the document needs a chain of legalizations: first the Chilean authority that certifies the signature, then the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and, finally, the consulate or embassy of the destination country.
Each consulate has its own requirements for format, translation, fees and opening hours. We prepare the file, coordinate the translation into the language the consulate requires and follow up until the document is ready.
We also handle embassy legalizations for business documents: certificates of origin, powers of representation, articles of association and contracts for subsidiaries abroad.

Frequently asked questions
How long does a consular legalization take?
It depends on the consulate: some return documents in days, others in weeks. We give you an estimate with the quote.
Do I have to go to the consulate in person?
In most cases, no. If the consulate requires you to appear in person, we tell you in advance.
