Certified Translation in Chile
Translations signed and certified by professional translators, ready to submit to institutions in Chile or abroad.
A certified translation is a complete and faithful translation of the original document, accompanied by the translator's signed statement attesting to its accuracy. Universities, employers, civil registries, consulates and immigration authorities ask for it whenever a document is not in the language of the procedure.
We translate documents issued in Chile for use abroad, and foreign documents for submission in Chile. We keep the layout of the original, including stamps, signatures and annotations, so the institution can compare both texts line by line.
Some procedures in Chile require an official translation from the Translation Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. We tell you before we start whether that applies to you, so you never pay for a translation the institution will not accept.

Frequently asked questions
Is a certified translation accepted everywhere?
It depends on who receives it. Most universities, companies and consulates accept it; some Chilean public bodies require the official translation from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. We check the requirement with you before quoting.
Can I send a scanned document?
Yes. A legible copy is enough to translate. If it also needs an apostille or legalization, we tell you whether the original is required.
