Power of Attorney in Chile

Bilingual powers of attorney, notarized and apostilled, so someone can act for you in another country.

A power of attorney allows another person to sign or act on your behalf: selling a property, collecting an inheritance, opening an account or representing your company. If it will be used in another country, it must meet that country's requirements and travel apostilled or legalized.

We prepare the text in a bilingual format or with a certified translation, coordinate the signing before a notary in Chile and the apostille. For powers granted abroad to be used in Chile, we handle the translation and check they are properly legalized.

We are not lawyers: if the power needs legal advice on its content, we work from the text provided by your lawyer or the party abroad.

How it works

  1. Send us a copy

A clear photo or scan of the document is enough for a quote. Tell us the country or institution where you will submit it.

  2. Get your quote

We confirm price, turnaround and whether you also need an apostille, legalization or notarial signature. No obligation.

  3. We do the work

We translate, certify and handle the steps with notaries, ministries or consulates as required.

  4. Delivery

You receive the document digitally, on paper by courier, or both, depending on what the receiving institution requires.

Common languages for this service

Frequently asked questions

Must the power of attorney be in the destination country's language?

Usually yes, or accompanied by a certified translation. A two-column bilingual format is often the most practical option.
